Kikapu (‘key-car-poo’) is Swahili for basket. The Kikapu Co. is a family business based in Shropshire.

Kikapus are attractive, strong, reusable and biodegradable baskets - environmental alternative to bags.

The raw materials are hand harvested in East Africa from naturally growing plants - completely sustainable.

The baskets are hand made in rural Africa where we buy directly for a fair price - trade not aid.
